Tricks or Treat?

What does the Joker have up sleeve when the candle burns out.

Note to self: that was a really lame sentence.

Anyway...

CHRISTIAN SLATER IS MOSES!

Stuff I Want For Christmas

I will now begin a Christmas registry of sorts for me. It's like getting married, but with half the hassle!
Let's begin:

For my bathroom

For my childhood (now raped, Star Wars style)

and now a couple things to get Doug for Chanukah:

For his bedroom

For his night life

more things will be added to my registry as we get closer to the big day!

My Pic of the day

Picture of the day...

Arnold: "The Skynet Funding Bill is passed. The system goes on-line August 4th, 1997. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug."

Sarah Connor: "Skynet fights back."

Arnold: "Yes. It launches its missiles against the targets in Russia."

President Bush: "Why attack Russia? Aren't they our friends now?"

Arnold: "Because Skynet knows the Russian counter-attack will eliminate its enemies over here."

The Long Wait

This came over in an email from Chris earlier today.

The final 20-episode run will kick off in — you read it here first — early April.

God, I don't want to have to wait that long. I guess I can watch all of seasons 1, 2 and 3 for a second time through before season 4 starts.

Bigger is Always Better

I'm a fan of the geektastic site, ThinkGeek and all the wonderful products they sell. I'm also a fan of one of my childhood favorite toys, the genuine Swiss Army Knife, so you must imagine the overwhelming joy I felt when I came across the Giant Swiss Army Knife. This is an authentic Swiss Army Knife comes with all 85 tools that are currently produced for the survival tools. Anyone want to whittle me $999.00 so I can pick up one of these for myself?

Safety!

Yes. This is what happens in Oregon. They don't ride bikes, they just bang their heads around in the bathroom a bit.

Get ur Halloween on

Today's craft-o-the-day is a paper skull. It doesn't require too much skill to put together, just some scissors, tape, and glue. Even Chris Holmes could do it!! Download the pdf file here. I'm going to try this out tonight and will post the results tomorrow.

Real Picture of the day

I Win.

Can this count as picture if the day? This is a skit from "The Peter Serafinowicz Show" . It airs on BBC and the internet (i'm guessing).
This is Peter Serafinowicz (He's the Harry Potter looking guy from Shaun of the Dead).

Here is the funniest thing I've seen all day.

Interesting note: He is the voice of Darth Maul

Go Metro!

This is a special post just for Chris. If you're confused re-read this.

"Hearts on Fire" = Song of the day

I do believe they used the sound of bowling pins being knocked down in substitute of the wood chopping sound. If this doesn't make you want to take down Russia with your mighty American fists then go back to Siberia Commie!

This has been the worst day of the week. So far.

I just walked from me girlfriends house (Wilshire/ La Brea) to 9 Star (Olympic/ Sepulveda). I picked up my bike (Hollywood... the bike, not the city) and rode home to Santa Monica. The LA Times says that the air quality from Woodland Hills to San Diego is "unhealthful for everyone". I may be dick, but that obviously doesn't makes me smart. Crap.

Watch this to see how this guys day is worse than mine... and funnier?

Pinups for Pups?

This was just sent to me and I'm not sure what to think or say, so I'm gonna go eat lunch instead.

What's it gonna be?

This might be an oldie to some of you, but I always go back to it when I need a good laugh.

Picture and Song of the Day

Let's see how long I can keep this up...
First the picture

From the upcoming "There Will Be Blood" directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
Bill "The Butcher" is back (kind of) and he's not just shiving pigs any more!
This movie will a be much needed movie boner.

And now the song...
This video sucks. It's hot out side. My family in Oceanside might lose their house in the fire tomorrow. We'll see! Enjoy!

Happy Birthday

Six years ago today people forked over $399 for a 1st generation ipod. I waited until December to get mine. I could go on a tell you about how I've owned a first gen, a first gen mini and a first gen iphone, but I don't think anyone actually gives a shit, so I'll stop here. I won't even link the the wikipedia entry about the ipod. If you really give a crap you'll look it up yourself.

Be. Hold.

For lunch I'm going to the American Apparel Store on Main St. to
apply for store manager.

Keep in mind, last time I managed a retail store, I got fired.
Seven years ago.I figure if I tell them I like
hating things/ feeling superior to others
and girls with tattoos they'll hire me on the spot.

I saw "Weird Al" live in concert at the Greek on Saturday. I laughed so hard at one point, water began sprouting from my eyes. This was the joke that did me in: "Be careful to make sure your ghost doesn't fall down the stairs." Still funny. Um... you had to be there.

You Don't Have This Much Time On Your Hands

God, we're off to a slow start. Here... This is funny. Let me troll around the internet for a little bit.

Day Before the Day of the Dead

That would be Halloween people. One of the best holidays we have next to Valentines Day (not the Christianized version, the original Pagan holiday devoted to sex sex and more sex). While the rest of Southern California is burning to the ground I'm concerning myself not with the plight of others, but with the decision of what costume to get this year. For my costume choice this year I'm choosing the quick and easy route with a costume t-shirt from 80stees.com. They're simple yet effective and it looks like this Halloween I'll be going as that lovable Wookie, Chewbacca.
